With the imminent departure of Chris Withington and hot on the heels of the signing of Ben Tilbury, we are delighted to announce we have captured the signature of the highly rated 20 year old defender / midfielder, Curtis Smith from Malvern Town.

The Bromsgrove based footballer has been with Malvern Town now for a number of seasons and this season has made 21 appearances for them in the Hellenic League.

On joining Curtis said " I am very much looking forward the New Year with a new challenge, I know a few of the players and they all speak highly of the Club and the atmosphere.

I have a slight hamstring injury which isn't to bad so may not be available for Monday but hopefully Saturday at home to Wolverhampton Casuals"

On securing his target, Tim Harris said " Curtis is a very competitive full back / midfielder with excellent qualities, like many players in the squad he will fit in the group well and with his style and commitment I am sure he will become a firm fans favourite. At 20 years old he still has to develop to his full potential and we will do all we can to help him progress".
