A player we kept tabs on last season when he was at Tividale, he became our number one target in the summer and we were so excited when terms were agreed.

Many wont know, but since September the Club had received eight ,7 day approaches for Dimi from Clubs at Steps 3, 4 and 5. At each point Dimi wanted to continue playing for this Club and for the Management Team and continually turned down those offers, However when the approach came in from Hereford all parties agreed this would be a fantastic move for him and his family.

A few words from Ash "Dimi for me has been fantastic all season to now, on and off the pitch and deserves his opportunity to test himself higher up the football pyramid. Over the season the interest in a player we brought in from step 6 has been incredible but he showed his loyalty and character throughout but also his trust in us as a staff to help develop him, there is of course a point where it is right to move on in football and with the chance to improve the quality of his families life off the pitch with a new baby on the way and also develop himself on the pitch further, he goes with our absolute best wishes and a huge thankyou for all his efforts. A special young man who hopefully fulfills all his potential and shows there’s a lot more to come."

Dimi will be missed by us all but we wish him all the best in his move to Hereford. We must also wish his partner Beth all the very best as she comes towards the end of her pregnancy with the pitter patter of tiny feet just weeks away!
