A look back at the last week across our youth teams

Storms Dudley and Eunice blew away most of Worcester City Youth's programme but there was a handful of games that evaded the weather that put pitches out of action.

Before the wind and rain moved in, the Under 18s were able to play their rearranged WFA Midweek County Cup tie at Malvern Town which was abandoned the previous week due to a player being taken ill suddenly.

One of a trio of Under 16s, Declan O'Shea, equalised for the visitors as the game finished 1-1. In the penalty shoot-out that followed, City was the only side to miss one of their attempts as the hosts squeezed through 5-4.

Saturday's only action saw the Under 9s travel to Evesham United for a friendly and, although some football was played, the cold weather eventually intervened and forced an early curtailment.

With conditions slightly improved on Sunday, the Under 13 Mercian League side met Areley Kings and recorded a decent 4-1 victory. Cameron Elton, Levi Adusei-Hillel, Oliver Guz and Fin Parker were the boys on target.
