Tim's initial role will be Head of Football and will assist with the recruitment of a new manager, whilst being able to help the club in other areas utilising his experience.

Chairman Steve Goode commented, “We understand Tim's passion and we are all delighted he is still committed to helping the club especially at this difficult time, the process of appointing a new Management Team will be made easier with Tim's support.

We are looking at announcing an appointment at the earliest opportunity and all I ask is for everyone to get behind Stewart, Craig and the players in the interim period.”

Tim Harris, " It was never my intention to walk away from 18 months of hard graft, though as we all know the results weren't forthcoming. Simply, if I didn't feel I could help the club move forward off the field I would not be involved. The huge potential I saw when I walked through the door is still very apparent and we need to embrace the challenge more than ever. I look forward to being at Claines Lane tomorrow and in the future to support the Club in anyway i can."
