The Blue And Whites make the trip to Brisford Lane this evening in Midland Football League action to face Wolverhampton Casuals.
Coming off the back of a 2-1 away win at Uttoxeter Town on Saturday, City come into the tie sat in 16th position, 7 points clear of the drop zone. A win this evening could see City move 10 points clear of Uttoxeter in 19th place, with a game in hand, also closing the gap on Atherstone and Bewdley, as they look to climb up the table and finish the season on a high.
Casuals will be hurting from the weekend, which saw them comfortably beaten 4-0 by playoff chasing Darlaston Town. The defeat was the hosts 3rd on the bounce, which has seen them go without a win in their last 5 games.
City will be boosted by the return of in-form keeper Haydn Whitcombe, now having served his suspension following a red card picked up last weekend vs Darlaston Town. James Douglas will remain sidelined, following an injury picked up at training a couple of weeks back. City will also be further boosted by the return to full fitness of Billy Shaw, who managed 30 minutes on Saturday, along with Dylan Hart, who was fit enough to make the bench.
