THE LATEST in our series of pictures from the Worcester City FC archives in which we showcase the proud history of the club.
Pictured we see former City manager, Nobby Clark, receiving the Alliance Premier League Manager of the Month award for August 1980. Nobby joined Worcester from this weekend's Buildbase FA Vase opponents, Highgate United, in December 1974 and stayed until February 1984, presiding over nearly 10 years of success on the pitch. This included two League titles and three memorable FA Cup runs. Nobby had previously managed Highgate when they knocked City out of the FA Cup in 1973.
