In partnership with the Nerf Junior Premier League, the Worcester Regional Talent Centre kicked off on Friday evening at Bishop Perowne School.
Over 50 players, between the ages of 5 to 11 were in attendance and were put through their paces by the elite youth coaches.
Positive comments were received from the parents attending about the overall setup and quality of coaching being provided in small team groups.
Speaking on the event, Worcester City director, Mark Wilcox said, "We're absolutely delighted with the overall turn out after all the effort to get the centre up and running. As can be seen from the smiles on their faces, the kids all had a great time.
"Special thanks to Kevin Brookes, Gareth Hamour and the JPL, along with all the coaches for making the evening run very smoothly"
The second open training session takes place this Friday from 6-7pm, once again at Bishop Perowne School.
