Discussions have been ongoing with Carl Heeley and Matt Gardiner for a number of weeks now and the management team are delighted that they have finally secured their man.

We cannot speak highly enough of Tom and he is seen as the key player we would like to build the team around, it would have been easy for Tom to leave the club this summer as he had a number of offers that would turn some players heads. Tom is a very intelligent and honest individual and he placed his trust in what the management team had told him and decided to be patient and bide his time before making a decision.

The signature of Tom will signal that although there are financial restraints as with most football clubs, Worcester City aim to be very competitive next season and this news will enhance our chances of further encouraging signatures in the coming weeks.
