Worcester City Youth will be holding a dedicated girls trials event as it looks to strengthen its female section for the 2023/24 season.
It will take place next month on a date which will be announced soon.
The Club already has a successful Under 12 team and two Under 14 sides that play in the Mercian League.
The Under 12s currently sit top of Division 1 and have reached the final of the Mercian League Trophy World Cup competition which takes place at Pershore Town on 14th May. Their performances have been so impressive this season that the majority of the squad have been invited for trials with Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion over the summer.
Meanwhile City Girls and the Lionesses sit third and fourth in their league with the latter looking forward to the final of the WFA County Cup after an 8-2 victory over Evesham United in their semi-final last Saturday.
As it looks to build a pathway to the women's first team, Worcester City Youth is hoping to add new age groups next season so welcomes players of any age to register for the initial trials. Please complete the form
The Club would also be interested in talking to existing teams that would be interested in coming under the Worcester City umbrella. Please email if this might be of interest.
