Worcester City were at the heart of it, organising the Sports Zone for the second year running alongside Worcestershire County Cricket Club, Worcester Rowing Club, Worcester Race Course, Boughton Park Tennis Club, Flics Gymnastics and the City Council Sports Play Team.

Hundreds of children took part in a range of sports activities throughout the day.

The Worcester Show Penalty shoot out ended with Alexandra Crake beating all the boys to claim the Champion Penalty Taker title earning her the honour of walking out with the City Team on Saturday when Chorley are the visitors to Aggborough.

It was a great day, enjoyed by everyone who attended & by the City volunteers who played a big part in making it a success.
