Worcester City vs Hereford U13

A great performance in atrocious conditions at Perdiswell but these brilliant pitches held up really well.

Lads were excellent, keeping their formation and sticking to the game plan.

A goal from close range from Jake after 5 mins was backed up by good interplay in the first quarter and some strong defensive play also as Hereford started to get some decent possession in the City half.

A superb 20 yarder from Plumer on 21 minutes settled the lads and at 2.0 they passed and moved brilliantly on the wet surface in quarter 2.

Quarter 3 saw Plumer come back on and nick one at the far post for 3.0 on 51 minutes and City then continued to dominate in the passing game and create more openings.

The final quarter was more open and tired legs lead to Hereford coming back into it an playing some very neat football, creating some opportunities and hitting the post late on.

Credit to all the City Lads and especially the GK's Callum and Ethan for their handling in such difficult conditions.

Could mention everyone of course as they all did really well. Excellent performance and team spirit. Very enjoyable morning's football.
