Match report by Mark Andrews

The city boys were fast out of the blocks with Ethan poking a super through ball for Marcel to open the scoring within the 1st minute, before Kewford hit back to take advantage of a poor clearance to score with a great individual effort.

With City looking the most dangerous with some super passing they broke the deadlock again with Alf battling well to bring the ball out of danger before playing the ball into Marcels direction and just as it looked like the keeper might win the race, Marcel slid in to slide the ball past the keeper, then moments later Marcel popped up in the box to send a great reversed effort past the keeper to complete a super quick hattrick.

Marcel continued his great start to the game, whipping in a super ball for Alf to guide past the goalie, but again a sloppy clearance from City gave Kewford the chance to play a super 1 2 on the edge of the visitors box and drag themselves back into the game, but the City boys were not finished yet and just as the half was drawing to a close, Logan's calm ball was taken superbly by Alf to leave him in space to fire a great effort across the dive of the keeper and into the net.

If Marcel had been the hero of the 1st half, Ethan pinched the crown at the break to firstly pull one back for Marcel to add his fourth before attacking a Alf cross superbly to get his 1st of a super 2nd half hattrick.

Marcel then provided the ball for Ethan's 2nd before sending Zayne clear with a super ball that the big man accepted and dispatched to bring the roof down from the travelling fans and so nearly added a 2nd, with the ref refusing to consult VAR for the 2nd time this week, but the icing was put on the cake by Ethan finishing it all off with a super diving header from Marcels corner to continue City's great start to the season.

All the lads were sensational again today.

9 ... Oscar - Again the rock at the back, communicating superbly to organise the boys at set pieces and using his strength to keep Kewford at bay.

9 ... Logan - Transitioned really well in the springer role to help create the overloads in attack and passed with a calmness and intelligence throughout.

9 ... Alf - Battled well, showing quick feet and scored a great goal with a super 1st touch to take him clear of his marker before rifling his effort home.

9 ... Ethan - Sent Marcel clear with a clever touch and came alive 2nd half with a super hattrick with the diving header being the pick of the bunch.

9 ... Marcel - Was never far from the action today scoring a quick 1st half hattrick and having a hand in most of the goals, with his assist for Zayne's goal being my favourite moment.

9 ... Zayne - Battled well and used his strength to great effect, pressing the ball at every opportunity and got his rewards with a super 2nd half finish.

10 ... Chris - Man of the Match today for always being alert and on top of his game, racing out superby to bravely dive on anything that got past Oscar as well as communicating really well with his defenders and making some super distributions to get the boys going again.
