On Saturday, The Blue and Whites welcome Coleshill Town to Claines Lane for a 3pm kick-off in Northern Premier League Midlands Division action.
The last meeting between the two sides was back in the 2017/18 season in the Midland Football League. That game, away at Pack Meadow, seemed destined for a 0-0 draw until a powerful strike from George Forsyth in the 85th minute secured all three points for City.
Chris Cornes’ men will be aiming for another win on the day we welcome former players back to the club for a Q&A, marking the 10-year anniversary of our famous FA Cup victory over Coventry City. Limited tickets are still available—secure yours now.
Coleshill have struggled in the league recently, winless in their last three games. Their most recent division win came against Rugby Town, the same opponent City faced last week. Coleshill currently sit 14th in the table with 16 points.
City enter the game following a resounding 1-6 away win at Rugby Town and will be looking to carry that form into this weekend’s fixture while maintaining their record of scoring in every home league game so far this season.
As our dedicated Remembrance Day game, the match will be preceded by a wreath-laying ceremony and a minute's silence.
RGS The Grange (Cash only), The River School (Cash only) and Claines Lane (Pre-book only) car parks are all available for this weekend's fixture.
Strictly, no parking in surrounding lanes and residential streets, as per the ground regulations.
