Worcester City travel to the Marks Electrical Arena to take on Anstey Nomads FC in a 3pm kick off on Saturday for their last league game of the year.
It was against Anstey back in August that the Blue and Whites kicked off their Northern Premier League Midlands division campaign at Claines Lane. A double from defender Charlie Wise helped Worcester to a 4-1 win to get the season off to the perfect start.
City will be looking to carry forward the momentum from their resounding 5-0 win against Grantham Town last week and will be hoping to get back to winning ways on the road having not won in their last two away games in the league.
Anstey Nomads have been in great form this season and are currently in fourth place in the league with multiple games in hand on the teams above them. They have four wins from their last five games and haven’t been beaten at the Marks Electrical Arena since October.
City are now second in the league, and will be looking to extend the gap between themselves and Anstey before Anstey play their games in hand. The Blue And Whites will also be keeping an eye on third-place Corby Town’s 3pm game against Hinckley as they sit only a point behind Worcester with two games in hand.
Anstey Nomads FC play at the Marks Electrical Arena, Cropston Road, Anstey Leicestershire, LE7 7BP.
Anstey Nomads FC ticket prices: Adults £10, Concessions £6 and Under 16s £2
