Worcester City travel to the Amber Arena & Community Stadium on Saturday to take on Boldmere St Michaels FC in a 3pm kick-off.
City were victorious in the reverse fixture back in November, with a clean sheet and a first-half goal from Cameron Monteith seeing City to a 1-0 win that marked their sixth win in a row at the time.
Chris Cornes’ men come into the game in good form and have shown a real defensive solidity as they enter the business end of the season, with three wins and three clean sheets in their last four games. The squad will be looking to improve their away form however, with only one win in their last four on the road.
Boldmere sit 16th in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division and will be looking to maintain a healthy distance between themselves and the relegation places. The Mikes have only one win in their last four fixtures but will be a dangerous prospect as this will be their first game under new manager Ben Roberts.
City’s form in March sees them sit in 4th place in the table and within the play-off places as the table begins to level out and teams play their games in hand. A win could see City rise to 3rd place if Long Eaton United drop points in their game against Darlaston Town. Elsewhere in the play-off race, Anstey Nomads host Sporting Khalsa and Corby Town host Coleshill Town.
Boldmere St Michaels play at the Amber Arena & Community Stadium, Church Road, Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B73 5RY.
The game is part of Non-League Day, and to celebrate our hosts have reduced their entry prices for this fixture:
Adults £5, Concessions £3, Under 16s free with a paying adult.
