Worcester City travel to Hayden Road Sports Ground to take on AFC Rushden & Diamonds in a 3pm kick-off on Saturday.
City would be content with a similar result to the last meeting between the two sides back in November. Prince Henry, Felix Miles and Liam Lockett all found the back of the net to see City to a 3-0 home win.
The Blue and Whites come into the game having faltered in recent matches. They lost at home to Darlaston Town and drew frustratingly with relegation-threatened Bedworth United. They will be looking to start picking up wins in their final four league games.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds are currently 14th in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division. They are no longer at risk of relegation, so will simply be playing with the aim of finishing as high in the table as possible. Rushden & Diamonds have also struggled for form recently, having not picked up a win in the league in their last five games.
City’s recent form sees them remain in 4th position in the league, and still within the play-off places, but 5th place Anstey Nomads are level on points with Chris Cornes’ men while having two games in hand. A win is important for City to keep distance between themselves and the chasing pack.
